Great to read someone else's thoughts on this. Totally been studying “this” massive topic for a while. For example, comparing ourselves to images of others physically I think is causing ‘Physical Characteristic Discrimination’ to supplant actual racism. A person is “type-cast” by what they look like, not by their actual race or actual personality and life experience. I.e. you look funny therefore you must be a comedian alt. you are attractive therefore you must just be a pretty face with no true value added to who they are as people. As well as body dysphoria like you talk about some here, as we compare ourselves to images of others. I wonder if we should keep developing children away from screens until they can tell us the “tiny people” in the movie, are acting in a movie? :) sorry, I rambled a lot here. Reading article, got me thinking a lot.
